The OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to support our Boucherville Distribution Centre. As a key member of the site leadership team, you will partner closely with the Distribution Centre General Manager to shape and execute the people strategy, strengthen colleague experience, and support a high-performing operation.
This role provides leadership and guidance across employee and labour relations, talent, workforce planning, performance, engagement, and change management.
This is an
on-site role in Boucherville, Quebec, five days per week and includes leadership of a team of up to three HR colleagues.
What You'll Do - Partner with the General Manager and leadership team to align HR priorities with operational and business goals.
- Provide trusted advice and coaching on employee and labour relations, performance management, conflict resolution, investigations, and other complex people matters.
- Build strong relationships with leaders and colleagues across all levels of the Distribution Centre.
- Support workforce planning, talent management, recruitment, succession planning, and organizational effectiveness.
- Coach leaders to strengthen people leadership capabilities and effectively navigate change.
- Identify people-related risks, trends, and opportunities and recommend practical solutions.
- Champion colleague engagement, inclusion, workplace culture, and continuous improvement.
- Use HR data and workforce insights to support decision-making and improve business performance.
- Partner with HR Centres of Excellence to deliver programs and solutions across compensation, benefits, talent, and learning.
- Lead, coach, and develop the site HR team.
What You Bring - Postsecondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in distribution, logistics, transportation, manufacturing, retail, or another fast-paced operational environment.
- Strong HR generalist experience, including employee and labour relations, performance management, talent, workforce planning, and change management.
- Strong knowledge of Quebec employment and labour legislation.
- Demonstrated ability to coach, influence, and build trusted relationships with leaders at all levels.
- Strong judgment, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A hands-on approach and comfort working directly with frontline colleagues and leaders across shifts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English.
- High standards of professionalism, integrity, discretion, and confidentiality.
- CHRP/CRHA designation, or working toward one, is an asset.
Hiring Range / Échelle salariale à l'embauche :
$80,000.00 - $110,000.00 / 80.000,00$ - 110.000,00$ (per year / par an)
