Your future role on our teamYou'll report to the Director, Health, Safety andEnvironment (HSE), and support occupational health and safety to ensurecompliance with BBA's prevention program across all our operations. You'll beresponsible mainly for our Ontario region.

- Advise employees and managers in managing occupational health and safety
- Develop and communicate recommendations to strengthen preventive operations
- Provide leadership to the Health and Safety committee
- Guide the design, development and delivery of health and safety training
- Perform occupational health and safety as well as corporate audits
- Help draft reports for the OHS Management committee and senior management
- Coordinate the drafting and distribution of health and safety information and communications
- Serve as a reference for offices in terms of applicable laws and regulations
- Coordinate all internal projects independently
- Collaborate on one-off projects with various stakeholders
- Conduct complex incident investigations
- Occasionally support client projects
- Support environmental processes, including incident and risk management and other related activities

Summary of certifications and jobrequirements- Bachelor's degree, college diploma or university certificate in OHS, combined with recognized experience
- Eight years of relevant health and safety experience in the corporate sector
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety best practices and management systems
- Available to travel occasionally to client sites or based on the firm's needs
- Ability to perform health and safety audits at BBA offices as well as client sites where our employees are working
- Advanced English skills to facilitate collaboration with other BBA offices and/or clients in English-speaking Canadian provinces and internationally; you may need to use English occasionally or daily, depending on current projects
- Spoken French skills to facilitate collaboration with other BBA offices and/or clients in Québec
- Great autonomy and a continuous improvement approach
- Solid knowledge of MS Office
- Asset: good knowledge of environmental laws and regulations
