Job Title: BI Developer
Location: Lenexa, KS, United States
System One is seeking a BI Developer for a long-term, hybrid-onsite opportunity in Lenexa, KS.
Responsibilities
- Translate business needs to technical specifications.
- Design, build, and deploy BI solutions to meet organizational requirements.
- Maintain and support data analytics platforms to ensure optimal performance.
- Create tools to store and manage data efficiently.
- Evaluate and improve existing BI systems and processes.
- Collaborate with team members to integrate various systems and data sources.
- Develop and execute complex database queries and conduct detailed analyses.
- Maintain the company's high standards of quality, professionalism, and customer service.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisory staff.
Requirements
- BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field.
- Industry experience as a BI Developer or Data Scientist.
- Background in data warehouse design and data mining.
- Strong understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing, and ETL frameworks.
- Familiarity with BI technologies, specifically Microsoft's BI Stack (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, Power BI).
- Knowledge of SQL queries and SQL Server Management Studio.
- Proficient with using smartphones and computers, including email, spreadsheets, and Microsoft Office programs.
- Ability to work well with all groups and understand their business rules, processes, and daily operations.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Visual Studio, and various SQL Server components.
