ABOUT THE ROLE

BTCS Group is a boutique RevOps consultancy helping mid-market companies align their people, processes, and systems to drive scalable revenue growth. We are hiring a BI Consultant & Solutions Lead to own our Power BI delivery across client engagements and take on project delivery responsibilities that currently sit with senior leadership.

This role is built for someone who is ready for real ownership now and wants a clear path to leading the client-facing side of the business as BTCS grows. You will work directly with senior leadership, run delivery workstreams independently, and grow into full client practice ownership over time. We work fast, stay close to our clients, and hold ourselves to a high standard of delivery.

Power BI & Analytics

This is the primary capability we are hiring for. You will be responsible for:

  1. Designing and building Power BI dashboards and reports to the client’s specification
  2. Developing semantic models, data relationships, and calculated measures in DAX
  3. Translating operational data into clear, decision-ready visualizations for executive audiences
  4. Identifying data quality issues and working with client teams to resolve them at source
  5. Documenting reporting frameworks and maintaining a handoff-ready solution architecture

What we need to see

  1. Demonstrated Power BI delivery in a client-facing or cross-functional environment
  2. Confident in DAX, comfortable building from scratch, not just editing existing models
  3. Ability to take a vague reporting brief and turn it into a clean, usable product

You will be assessed on Power BI in the skills assessment.

Client Delivery & Project Ownership

You will run delivery workstreams on active client engagements, which means:

  1. Leading client-facing working sessions, standups, and delivery reviews
  2. Managing stakeholder communications and keeping delivery on track without being chased
  3. Identifying risks and raising them proactively — not after the fact
  4. Maintaining accurate project documentation and status reporting
  5. Translating technical output into plain-English recommendations that clients can act on

What we need to see

  1. Track record of owning a client workstream end-to-end, not just supporting one
  2. Comfortable being the named delivery lead, not a back-room resource
  3. Strong written and verbal communication, executive-ready without needing polish from above

The goal is that you can receive direction, execute independently, and surface decisions, not create more work for leadership.

Business Solutions Scoping

Embedded across client engagements, you will continuously identify where operational or technology improvements could drive better outcomes:

  1. Synthesizing learnings from client interactions to surface where technology could better support the business
  2. Documenting current-state processes and mapping gaps clearly enough that stakeholders can see them too
  3. Developing practical recommendations aligned to client priorities — not theoretical ones
  4. Contributing to scoping documentation and delivery briefs, growing into leading structured discovery sessions independently

What we need to see

  1. Experience identifying operational inefficiencies and technology gaps in a client or cross-functional environment
  2. Ability to structure an ambiguous problem into a clear, actionable scope


CRM & Commercial Operations

Preferred

We work across a range of CRM and marketing platforms.

  1. Hands-on experience with HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar CRM environments, administration or configuration, not just end-user
  2. Genuine interest in the commercial side of operations, not just the technical
  3. Familiarity with how CRM data connects to reporting and revenue visibility

Client Practice Leadership

As BTCS grows, this role has a clear trajectory toward leading the client-facing practice:

  1. Owning the quality and consistency of client delivery across all engagements, not just your own
  2. Leading transformation strategy and solution design for clients with decreasing reliance on senior leadership
  3. Contributing to how BTCS develops its client methodology, delivery standards, and external reputation
  4. Acting as the senior client-facing partner, leadership focuses on winning business, you focus on delivering it

This is not a day-one expectation. It is the reason we are hiring at this level, and the ceiling we are building toward together.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Base salary

$120,000 – $150,000 (based on experience)

Semi-flexible, core hours aligned to client and Pacific Time requirements

ABOUT YOU

You are likely:

  1. 5–10 years into a career in consulting, analytics, or operational systems, ready for more ownership than your current role allows
  2. Strong on Power BI, you will be assessed, so do not overstate this
  3. Comfortable being a named delivery lead with clients, not a back-room resource
  4. Outcome-oriented: you think about what the client needs to achieve, not just the task in front of you
  5. Looking to build toward client practice leadership, not stay as a senior individual contributor indefinitely
  6. CRM-curious and interested in the commercial side of operations, not just the technical
  7. Based in the US, preferably West Coast or Mountain Time, with strong Pacific Time availability

This role is probably not right for you if you need a fully defined brief before moving, have only used Power BI as a consumer, prefer back-room technical work over client interaction, or see client relationship ownership as someone else’s job.
