Position SummaryIn your role as a BEOL TQR Staff Engineer, you'll use your strong problem-solving skill to support the reliability engineering activity for advanced CMOS technology node.
Role and ResponsibilitiesHere's What You'll Be Responsible For:- Provide technical leadership for reliability improvement activities, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
- Identify, plan, and execute reliability evaluations for new technology qualification, process changes and abnormal events.
- Design, execute, and analyze designed experiments to improve semiconductor fabrication processes.
- Utilize statistical tools and reliability models to extract lifetime from time to fail data.
- Conduct reliability assessment to ensure semiconductor fabrication process robust and optimized.
- Develop and optimize reliability test method and modeling for reliability risk detection and margin improvement.
Skills and QualificationsHere's what you'll need:- BS/MS/Phd in Material, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Strong problem-solving skill, solid knowledge of reliability failure mechanisms and underlying physics and statistical analysis. In-depth knowledge of wafer-fabrication process.
The current base salary range for this role is between $70,480 - $212,650. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.Total RewardsAt Samsung Austin Semiconductor, base pay is just one part of our total compensation package.
