Full Job Description
This is a senior coverage role responsible for originating and expanding Citi's relationships with a portfolio of Tech clients operating in the U.S. market. Serving as Citi's primary representative and trusted advisor, the Banker actively leads the development and execution of client strategies that strengthen Citi's position across the full client wallet spectrum while advancing clients' strategic, financial, and operational objectives.

The role is accountable for driving franchise growth through industry expertise, senior executive engagement, thought leadership and proactive identification of opportunities across Citi's platform. The overall objective is to expand wallet share, deliver sustainable revenue growth and maintain strong risk-adjusted returns while reinforcing Citi's leadership position in the U.S. market.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive client coverage strategies for a portfolio of corporate clients, aligning Citi's capabilities with clients' strategic objectives and business priorities.
  • Build and maintain senior-level relationships with key decision makers, including CEOs, CFOs, Treasurers and other executive stakeholders, positioning Citi as a trusted partner.
  • Lead proactive client planning efforts, identifying opportunities to grow wallet share, deepen product penetration and enhance overall franchise value.
  • Coordinate coverage activities across Corporate Banking, Markets, Services, Treasury & Trade Solutions, Investment Banking and other partner to deliver integrated client solutions.
  • Develop deep industry expertise and maintain a thorough understanding of sector trends, competitive dynamics, regulatory developments and emerging opportunities impacting clients.
  • Identify opportunities related to strategic events including acquisitions, divestitures, capital allocation decisions, growth initiatives, digital transformation programs and broader corporate finance needs.
  • Mobilize product specialists to deliver tailored solutions that address clients' evolving needs.
  • Manage portfolio profitability, capital allocation and risk-adjusted returns in partnership with Risk, Capital Management and Product partners.
  • Drive achievement of revenue, return and client engagement objectives while maintaining strong risk management and governance discipline.
  • Foster collaboration across Citi's global network to ensure consistent client coverage and coordinated execution.
  • Mentor and develop junior bankers, contributing to talent development and strengthening the overall franchise.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, safeguarding Citi, its clients and assets through adherence to all applicable policies, regulations and ethical standards.

Qualifications
  • 15+ years of relevant Corporate or Investment Banking experience.
  • Demonstrated success managing complex corporate client relationships and delivering multi-product revenue growth.
  • Deep knowledge of corporate banking products, credit, capital markets, corporate finance, liquidity management, treasury solutions and risk management products.
  • Strong understanding of industry-specific business models, market dynamics and strategic challenges.
  • Proven track record of developing and maintaining senior executive client relationships.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and delivering integrated client solutions across multiple product areas.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, presentation, relationship management, analytical and credit skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience operating effectively within a complex global matrix organization.
  • Series 7 and 63 licenses preferred

Education
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • CFA or Master's Degree preferred.
