Full Job Description
ECS is seeking an Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) Engineer to work in our Arlington, VA office. Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.

ECS is seeking an Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) Engineer to support the design, configuration, and maintenance of a large, virtual desktop environment. This role will have strong working knowledge in troubleshooting Azure AVD Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), maintaining and updating images, optimizing performance, leveraging automation with experience in network, fslogic profiles, storage, Nerdio, and EntraID.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, Engineer, Deploy, and Maintain/Troubleshoot (Tier 2/3 support) of Azure AVD environments.
  • Provide guidance on optimization of desktops for platform interoperability and act as liaison between AVD technologies.
  • Maintains an Advanced knowledge relative to administration, engineering, and implementation of virtual desktop infrastructure-related technologies.
  • Operate across multiple and complex production environments with multiple stakeholders. `
  • Applies technical expertise and has working knowledge of other related disciplines.
