The Systems Administrator plays a key role in supporting, managing, and optimizing our Azure-based infrastructure, while working closely with team members across various departments.
Salary Range: $90 - 110k, based upon qualifications and experience.
Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Administer and support Microsoft Azure infrastructure and services (e.g., virtual machines, storage, networking, Entra and on prem AD, backups).
- Monitor system performance and availability, ensuring high levels of uptime and security.
- Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot cloud-based and hybrid solutions.
- Maintain documentation and system records.
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Adapt to shifting priorities, changing deadlines, and emerging business needs.
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for Azure-related issues.
- Participate in planning and executing system upgrades and changes.
Required Skills and Experience:- 5 - 10 years of relevant work experience.
- Proven proficiency with Microsoft Azure and cloud infrastructure management.
- Strong understanding of networking, virtualization, and security within Azure environments.
- Skilled with scripting tools (e.g., PowerShell) for automation and system management.
- Familiarity with hybrid environments (on-premises + Azure) is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively in a changing environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong team-oriented mindset.
- Clear, confident communication and a positive, proactive attitude.
Preferred Qualifications:- Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-303/304).
- Experience working independently with small teams and shared responsibilities.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 integration and administration.
Education:- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
