Job Description:

Are you passionate about building cutting-edge cloud solutions and enabling enterprise innovation? As an Azure Cloud Engineer , you will design, develop, and support scalable Microsoft Azure cloud platforms with a strong focus on automation, AI integration, and operational excellence. This role combines cloud engineering, DevOps, and problem-solving expertise to deliver secure, high-performing solutions across a global environment. You will work closely with architects, senior engineers, and business partners to translate requirements into reliable cloud capabilities. In addition, you will help onboard emerging AI services and contribute to modernizing enterprise technology platforms. This is an exciting opportunity to shape enterprise cloud strategy while working with advanced Azure technologies.

What you will do:

  • Design, build, and operate Azure cloud infrastructure and platform services supporting enterprisescale AI and machine learning workloads.
  • Build, migrate, and manage Azure PaaS solutions including App Services, Functions, Databases, Storage, and Integration Services.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and operations using InfrastructureasCode and scripting approaches.
  • Deploy and integrate Azure AI services based on business partner requirements using automationfirst practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure and application issues in a globally distributed environment.
  • Serve as a technical contact for Azure platform services, performing root cause analysis and performance optimization.
  • Participate in Agile development activities including sprint planning, backlog refinement, standups, and retrospectives (Scrum, Kanban, or similar).
  • Contribute to enterprise cloud standards, governance, architecture reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support monitoring, logging, disaster recovery, backup, and vulnerability remediation efforts.

What you have:
  • Cloud Experience: Experience designing, building, and supporting Microsoft Azure solutions in production environments.
  • Azure Services: Handson experience with Azure AI Foundry, Cognitive Services, App Services, Functions, Azure AI Search, Computer Vision, Document Intelligence, and Translator.
  • Automation & DevOps: Experience automating deployments using PowerShell, Python, ARM templates, JSON, YAML, Azure CLI, and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or GitHub).
  • Troubleshooting: Strong analytical and problemsolving skills across distributed systems and global network environments.
  • Independence: Ability to perform development and deployment work with minimal supervision.
  • Support Readiness: Ability to respond to offshift and weekend support needs when required.
  • Delivery: Experience performing integrated testing and supporting customer acceptance testing for cloud solutions.

Top candidates will have:
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related information technology field.
  • Azure certifications such as AZ900, AZ04, AZ00, or AI 00.
  • Experience working in Agile or SCRUM development environments.
  • Experience collaborating with IT security teams on compliance, governance, and vulnerability remediation.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (English).
  • Strong teamwork, customer service, and problemsolving skills.

Additional Information:

  • The primary location for this position is East Peoria, IL, Nashville, TN or Irving, TX.

  • This role requires 5 days a week in office

Summary Pay Range:

$81,370.00 - $122,060.00
