Must Have's:
Very good Oracle and PLSQL skills
Axiom reporting (candidate should be able to explain experience with these reports) - resume should show specific Axiom reports they have worked on - ie. Axiom Controller View for the FFIEC 031, FFIEC 041, FRY 14M/Q, FRY-14, FRY-9C, FRY 14M, FRY 14Q, FRY-9C, FFIEC 031 & 041 are regulatory Reports.

1. Would your team be willing to accept profiles that are Sr. Analysts & Business Analysts with Axiom reporting experience?
[Prakasham] the role is of a developer , so as long as he / she is good at SQL and can develop / create Axiom reports we should be good. As far as I understand Business Analysts , Sr. Analysts are not hands- on ( as in writing code )
2. Would you look at Axiom Developers that have 3 years experience with other development experience? If so, what would be a similar tool that would suffice?
[Prakasham] : The client is looking primarily for Axiom skill & SQL skill , so with past experience , the candidates submitted should be really good and know what they are doing
3. What is the interview process and how quickly is the client looking to hire?
[ Prakasham ] : Per the last time , it would be one round with Cognizant and 2 rounds with client
4. Could you provide some guidance on the level of flexibility regarding the years of experience required for this position?
[ Prakasham ] : Last time we had a resource Bhuvaneswari , with 6+ years of experience and she couldn't crack the interview, this time around we really want a good profile , this goes back to point#3 , the candidate has to be confident

Knowledge of Banking, Financial and US regulatory environment

Technical:
5-8 years of Hands on configuration experience using Axiom for very large data sets.
Familiarity with OAS or Tableau is a plus.
Expertise in database design and programming skills - SQL/PLSQL
Intermediate level skills in data analysis and data modeling
Experience with using R or Python would be an advantage.
Knowledge and experience of data modeling and data warehouse concepts.
Working knowledge of software design patterns and architecture
Leads complex problem solving and provides technical guidance and support to colleagues and solution development.
Proposes, designs & codes software solutions to address complex business needs.
Oversees technical and procedural documentation as required.
