We're looking for an
AWS Cloud Architect for a
remote role.
Skills & Qualifications:- 10 years of experience with cloud architecture, cloud engineering, or solution architecture
- 5 years of hands-on experience with AWS and cloud-native commercial SaaS products
- 5 years of experience designing complex distributed systems and enterprise cloud solutions
- Proven experience in cloud-native development
- Strong background in modernizing legacy systems using the Strangler Pattern
- Ability to host and operate solutions in customer-owned AWS accounts
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) such as Terraform and CloudFormation
- Proven ability to review and validate IaC code before deployment
- Experience with policy-as-code and automated compliance tools
- Familiar with automation-driven policy verification and enforcement
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and maintain the AWS cloud environment to ensure security, scalability, operational resilience, and streamlined design across SaaS product architectures
- Lead cloud architectural direction and engage in governance
- Ensure alignment with AWS best practices and collaborate with engineering, product, security, and cloud operations teams
- Translate complex requirements into actionable designs while promoting innovation, cost efficiency, and technical excellence across the enterprise
- Create blueprints, resolve issues and review the work of other architects
Education/Certifications:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- AWS Solutions Architect - Professional Certification or similar
- Preferred: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer and additional AWS specialty or advanced certifications
- Master's degree in a technology-related field is preferred
The salary range for this position is $165,000 - $180,000.
