Job Title: AWS Architect - DMS, CKAD

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced AWS Database Migration & Platform Engineer with strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), AWS CDK (TypeScript/Python), Amazon Aurora MySQL, Kubernetes, and automation scripting. The ideal candidate will lead and execute complex database modernization and migration initiatives, design resilient cloud-native database architectures, and automate infrastructure deployments in AWS environments.

The role requires hands-on experience with AWS migration services, database replication technologies, cloud infrastructure automation, and Kubernetes-based application platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Database Migration & Modernization

• Design and execute large-scale database migration projects using AWS Database Migration Service (DMS).
• Migrate on-premises and cloud databases to Amazon Aurora MySQL with minimal downtime.
• Plan and implement database modernization strategies, cutover procedures, and rollback mechanisms.
• Perform migration assessments, dependency analysis, and performance benchmarking.
• Troubleshoot migration issues involving schema conversion, replication lag, and data consistency.

Cloud Infrastructure & Automation

• Develop Infrastructure as Code solutions using AWS CDK (TypeScript/Python).
• Automate provisioning of AWS infrastructure components including:
  • Aurora MySQL
  • RDS Proxy
  • Networking components
  • Security controls
  • Kubernetes infrastructure
• Develop reusable infrastructure modules and deployment templates.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.

Kubernetes & Platform Engineering

• Deploy and manage cloud-native applications on Kubernetes platforms.
• Integrate database services with Kubernetes workloads.
• Implement security, scalability, monitoring, and operational best practices.
• Support containerized application deployment patterns and platform resiliency.

Reliability & Performance

• Design multi-region and highly available Aurora architectures.
• Implement disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.
• Optimize database performance, backup, recovery, and capacity planning.
• Support observability, monitoring, and operational excellence initiatives.

Mandatory Skills: App-Cloud-Amazon-AWS.

Experience: >10 YEARS.

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $100,000 to $185,000 .

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
