GENERAL SUMMARYThe Talent Acquisition Team Lead (AVP) is responsible for leading a team of Talent Acquisition professionals while actively managing full-cycle recruitment efforts for key positions across the organization. This role serves as a strategic partner to hiring managers and business leaders, ensuring the acquisition of top talent aligned with organizational goals and workforce strategies.
The Talent Acquisition Team Lead will provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, mentoring, and performance management for assigned recruiters while driving recruiting best practices, process improvements, and exceptional candidate experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong recruiting expertise, leadership capabilities, and the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
DIRECT REPORTSWill manage a team of Talent Acquisition officers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS- Lead, develop, coach, and mentor Talent Acquisition team members to drive performance and professional growth.
- Manage and monitor recruiter workloads, productivity, service levels, and recruiting outcomes.
- Partner with business leaders and hiring managers to develop effective recruiting strategies and workforce plans.
- Manage full-cycle recruitment activities for exempt, non-exempt, professional, and leadership-level positions.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and organizational hiring policies.
- Analyze recruiting metrics and provide recommendations to improve hiring efficiency, quality of hire, and candidate experience.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement recruiting best practices.
- Support diversity, equity, inclusion, and outreach initiatives to attract qualified and diverse talent.
- Conduct intake meetings, candidate assessments, offer negotiations, and hiring consultations.
- Maintain recruiting data integrity within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Foster strong partnerships with internal stakeholders and external recruiting resources.
- Assist with onboarding and integration activities as needed.
- Lead special projects and initiatives related to talent acquisition and organizational growth.

QUALIFICATIONSEducation:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field preferred or equivalent experience.
- HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 + years of progressive Talent Acquisition experience required.
- Minimum of 2 +years of leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience required.
- Experience managing full-cycle recruitment across multiple job families and organizational levels required.
- Banking, credit union, financial services, or related industry recruiting experience highly preferred.
- Experience utilizing Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HRIS platforms, and recruitment analytics required.

OTHER DETAILS$92,300 - $100,700 / year
Pay determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
This position may be eligible for a discretionary bonus.
