Job Overview:The AVP, Business Transitions Process Improvement and Project Management, will manage department projects from start to finish. The goal is to complete all projects on time, on budget and fulfill any other criteria the company sets. The Project Manager is responsible for coordination, control, completion and execution of projects, with main duties that include maintaining the project plans and communicating with the project team and senior management on the project status. In addition, when a project does not meet the goals or the timeline, they will work with management to resolve the issues or adjust the scope and timeline accordingly. The individual will also be an advocate for the program and a liaison with our business partners. They will work with the leaders assigned to the project, including Marketing, Finance, Compliance and Technology, to ensure the program stays on track, report on progress, get feedback/guidance on new ideas and opportunities identified.
Responsibilities:- Creation and management of project plans for projects assigned. Set and meet aggressive, specific timelines to keep the project on time and in scope.
- Facilitate project meetings with project team, with senior management and vendors. Responsible for working efficiently with individuals at staff to executive level in the various business units within LPL Financial.
- Prepare presentations for senior management to deliver the status and vision of the projects supported.
- Any additional responsibilities dictated by management to keep the projects on target.
- Participate in firm-wide and other department projects/initiatives as a representative for the department.
- Annual Project Review process.
- Annual Budgeting process.

Requirements:- 7+ years of experience in the financial services industry.
- 5-7 years of experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- 5+ years of experience creating, documenting, and improving business process flows.
- 3-5 years of experience communicating and partnering with senior leaders and external vendors.
- 5-7 years of demonstrated success leading projects and/or programs within a growing organization.
Core Competencies:- Ability to work under pressure/deadlines and manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Personable and reliable self-starter who requires minimal management oversight for day-to-day work responsibilities.
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to solving and preventing problems.
- Extensive LPL system knowledge and competency.
- Must have excellent communication skills (verbal and written), and a strong service ethic.
Preferences:- Bachelor's degree preferred. Preferably in a financial related discipline.
- Advanced degree in Project Management or PMP designation.
Pay Range: $99,704.00 - $166,139.00
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
