Position Overview

Our Avionics Technicians ensure the reliability and performance of advanced avionics systems on a wide range of helicopter types. They are responsible for maintaining, installing, and troubleshooting avionics systems in accordance with all regulatory requirements, technical data, and company standards.

As a core member of the avionics team and deliver precise and compliant work that upholds Alpine Aerotech's reputation for quality, safety, and technical excellence in helicopter maintenance and support.

How You'll Make an Impact
  • Showcase a thorough understanding of aircraft systems such as: electrical, power generation and navigation, communications, and auto-flight systems on small piston helicopters, small and medium turbine helicopter;
  • Perform maintenance and installation of avionics systems in accordance with applicable drawings and manuals;
  • Troubleshoot avionics systems to diagnose and perform adjustments, service, repairs and modifications according to SOPs;
  • Perform and document scheduled and unscheduled maintenance;
  • Complete and certify tasks and related documentation;
  • Assist in training Avionics Apprentices;
  • Support additional tasks and projects as required.
  • Uphold the high standards that define the Alpine Aerotech brand.


What You'll Bring to our Team
  • AME-E Transport Canada license.
  • Experience with maintenance and installation of avionics and related electrical systems.
  • Previous avionics and electrical systems experience on Bell, Airbus or Leonardo aircraft considered an asset.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
  • Excellent communication skills and professionalism.
  • Strong time management and self-motivation.
  • Ability to build collaborative working relationships.
  • Sound judgment and discretion when handling sensitive information.
