Full Job Description
Aviation Site Civil Project Manager

The Aviation Site Civil Project Manager will primarily be responsible for leading designing and managing airport land development projects. The Aviation Site Civil Project Manager must be able to work as a member of a multi-disciplined team, work with diverse clients, and produce complete design phase deliverables, including drawings, specifications, cost estimates, exhibits, technical reports, and narratives. Tasks associated with creating a set of construction documents include drafting, quantity computations, specifications, and cost estimates. Design development software packages will be used, including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other civil design packages.

Responsibilities will include
  • Lead and manage design
  • Serve Garver airports across the country on landside civil projects with construction values reaching up to $100 million.
  • Manage multiple projects
  • Manage clients and external coordination with other disciplines and jurisdictions
  • Develop and manage project schedules and budgets

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited program
  • PE license
  • 6+ years of related experience with site civil design, permitting, applicable software applications
  • Deep working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Design experience that includes drainage, grading, and utilities
  • Experience with due diligence, permitting, and jurisdictional coordination
  • Experience with task management, concept, design, and project management tasks
  • Managing budgets
  • Developing project schedules
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with both internal employees and external clients
  • Some travel may be required (approximately 10% with occasional overnight)
