Qualifications

Full Job Description
The location may be CONUS or OCONUS. Must have the ability to obtain/maintain a security clearance and passport, as necessary.

Job Title: Aviation Maintenance Advisor

Job Responsibilities:

The AMA conducts training (including classroom academics and hands-on demonstration) of IA maintenance personnel with focus on the skills of a U.S. Army 15R AH-64E Attack Helicopter Repairer. Additionally, advises IA unit maintainers in AH-64E techniques and procedures. In addition, may be designated to perform Technical Inspector duties.

Other duties as assigned.

Adhere to the company's AS9100 and QMS policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Education/Skills/Experience:

  • BS/BA and 12 years of experience or High School and 15 years.
  • (MOS 15R) with experience managing AH-64E maintenance programs. Skills of a 15R required.
  • Must have, at least, ten (10) years of experience performing or supervising helicopter maintenance.
  • Must have, at least, five (5) years of experience performing or supervising AH-64D or AH-64E maintenance requiring the skills of a 15R.
  • Must have at least one (1) year of experience as an AH-64D/E Technical Inspector.
  • Highly desired: AH-64Ev6 previous maintenance experience.


Required:

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Knowledge of Army Aviation training concepts, administration, and logistics.
  • Previously qualified as an AH-64E Aircraft Repairer.
  • Ability to communication both orally and written in English.
  • Ability to effectively work in coordination with staff and team members.
  • Ability to professionally communicate with the customer, on the company's behalf.
