The Position: We are seeking a highly experienced Aviation Logistics Specialist to provide expert advice, oversight, and assistance to various elements of the Cargo Program Managers Office (PMO) and Department of the Army (DA) components. The ideal candidate will be fully engaged in the sustainment of the CH-47 Army aircraft, applying cradle-to-grave life cycle management principles. As a component expert, you will evaluate equipment, conditions, planning, and implementation of comprehensive DOD component logistics programs, ensuring seamless integration with environmental and safety requirements.

The Description: - Life Cycle & Maintenance Management: Assess and prepare updates to maintenance concepts and plans. Assess and/or conduct Level of Repair Analysis (LORA) to optimize system support concepts across the CH-47 lifecycle.
- Technical Data & Modifications: Manage all current versions and verifications of Work Orders (MWO) technical procedures, Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs), modification kits, Technical Data Packages (TDP), and Depot Maintenance Work Requirements (DMWR). Review Engineer Change Proposals (ECP) to provide critical input on logistics safety.
- Equipment & Diagnostics Support: Provide analytical and logistical expertise for Support Equipment and Test, Measurement and Diagnostics Equipment (TMDE). Review and evaluate Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) and Test Program Sets (TPS) software program plans and documents, providing functional recommendations for ATE/IPS hardware and software.
- Avionics Troubleshooting: Read, interpret, and apply technical data from blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, manufacturing plans, and wiring diagrams to identify system operations, troubleshoot, fault isolate, and repair complex avionics systems.
- Training & Simulation (TADSS): Deliver analytic and logistical expertise for training documentation development and Training Aids, Devices, Simulators, and Simulations (TADSS) supporting both U.S. Army (USA) and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers.
- Multimedia Training Validation: Validate technology-based and computer-based multimedia training materials, including Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI) and Virtual Immersive Environments (VIE). Conduct specialized training to meet CH PO training requirements.
- Facilities Planning: Identify, plan, resource, and acquire necessary facilities to enable training, maintenance, and storage operations.
- Regulatory & Publication Compliance: Apply deep knowledge of publication regulations, principles, methods, and concepts. Navigate acquisition strategies, target publications policy, specifications, standards, and Continuous Acquisition and Life Cycle Support (CALS) practices, including general digital technologies and Integrated Product Support (IPS) concepts.
Required Qualifications:- Extensive experience with CH-47 aviation sustainment and DOD logistics programs.
- Demonstrated proficiency in cradle-to-grave life cycle management.
- Deep understanding of U.S. Army technical publications (MWOs, IETMs, TDPs, DMWRs) and engineering changes (ECPs).
- Strong background in reading and analyzing complex technical schematics and blueprints for avionics systems.
- Experience supporting both U.S. Army and FMS training programs and simulators.
Education & Experience:- Active DoD Secret Clearance, required.
- Bachelor's degree and atleast ten (10) years of relevant experience.

- High School Diploma/GED and fifteen (15) years of relevant experience.
Travel:- On some occasions, the employee may be required to drive to offices or buildings near the work site. In rare occasions, travel may be required.
