Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, staff, and contractors.
  • Understand and deliver the project's scope of work while troubleshooting as necessary.

  • Maintain project profitability by monitoring actual hours against budgeted hours.
  • Issue work orders and coordinate tasks with team and third-party resources.
  • Ensure quality control by adhering to standards and meeting client expectations.
  • Lead client meetings to manage expectations and improve the client experience.

AV Project Manager

Department: Project Management

Location: Hollywood, FL (LP Custom Solutions)

Reporting To: Luis, Owner

Compensation: $85,000 - $95,000 / year

Description

You Are:
  • A trustworthy individual, hungry to learn and grow. Hands-on and love splitting your time between the field and the office. Technically inclined and always curious how things work.

You Have:
  • Experience on construction sites as a Project Manager (AV/LV is a plus!) Knowledge of the built environment and experience with all three phases of implementation (Rough/Trim/Final). A steady work history (3yrs between hops), a pleasant disposition, Hiqh EQ.

Your Location:
  • In-Person (50% office/50% field) - Hollywood, FL
  • Your Projects: Surrounding area

Your Schedule:
  • Mon-Fri 7:30am-4:00pm

Your Manager:
  • Luis, Owner


Your Contribution to LP Custom Solutions:
  • Primary Point of Contact: Client, In-House Staff, Other Trades, GC, Architect, Rep
  • Scope of Work: Understand, deliver, troubleshoot as needed
  • Project Timeline/Scheduling: Planning, Proactive, Aligned to Resources
  • Project Profitability: Keep actual hours at/below budgeted hours, remove redundancy and errors
  • Work Orders: Issue to team, coordinate with third parties
  • Quality Control: Ensure all work meets SOW, Plans, Company Standards, Client Expectations
  • Plan sets/Blueprints: Read, interpret, manifest, mark-up, distribute to team
  • Change Orders: Create, submit, get approval, confirm payment, execute
  • Client Experience: Lead meetings and manage expectations for a polished client experience
  • Status updates in Project Management Software
  • Experience with C4, Savant, and/or Lutron (a plus!)
