Full Job Description
Build the Aircraft. Prove the Capability.

ACP - the "loyal wingman" class of uncrewed, collaborative combat aircraft - is how Canada builds a sovereign, made-at-home autonomy layer instead of buying someone else's. Dominion designs autonomy-first: the mission software that flies today on smaller uncrewed aircraft transfers straight onto Scout, so by the time the airframe is ready, the intelligence behind it is already proven in the air. It's real hardware, in the field, on a demonstrator timeline most primes wouldn't attempt. We're not backfilling headcount - we're standing up a team, discipline by discipline, to design, build, test, and fly demonstrator aircraft, then scale toward a certified production line.

Who This Is For

This posting isn't tied to one open role. It's how we meet people before we have the exact seat open for them.

You might be an aerospace engineer who's spent a career at a Bombardier or a Pratt & Whitney, an avionics or electrical engineer who thinks in wiring diagrams and power budgets, a structures or stress engineer who thinks in loads and margins, an autonomy or mission-systems engineer who wants their code in the air, a technician who'd rather build the aircraft than talk about it, or someone in ops, program control, or procurement who keeps a fast-moving engineering program from tripping over itself.

Maybe you're early in your career - a student or recent grad who wants your first real work to matter. We're building room for that too.

Our team includes veterans of the Canadian and allied armed forces alongside people who've built at places like Bombardier, Anduril, and Boeing. We move at startup speed, engineer to aerospace standards, and keep sovereign Canadian capability at the center of everything we ship.

What You Might Work On

There's no single lane here. Depending on your background, you could:
  • Design, stress, or integrate structure for a demonstrator aircraft - fuselage, wing, empennage
  • Work aerodynamics, aircraft configuration, or control laws for a next-generation autonomous airframe
  • Own propulsion, fuel, mechanical, or vehicle management systems from design through flight test
  • Build the mission systems, autonomy software, or sensor fusion that let the aircraft think
  • Integrate systems across the aircraft and carry them through airworthiness and certification
  • Support ground test, flight test, or flight operations once the aircraft is in the air
  • Help build out production, quality, or procurement as the program scales from demonstrators to a fleet
  • Keep a fast-moving engineering program organized as a program or project controller

If you've ever stood next to a system and thought "there has to be a better way to do this" - this is where you build it.

Ready When You Are

You don't need a job description that matches you word for word. Tell us where you've worked, what you're good at, and what part of this pulls at you. We'll take it from there.

No defence background required.

We've hired people who didn't tick every box. If this is the work you want to do, please apply anyway.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive base salary and company equity*
  • Comprehensive health benefits
  • Additional equity granted based on impact*

*Equity awarded to full time employees only.
