Key Responsibilities:- Diagnose transmission issues using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
- Perform repairs and rebuilds on both automatic and manual transmissions to manufacturer specifications.
- Program and calibrate transmission control modules as required.
- Conduct thorough inspections to ensure the reliability and safety of transmission systems.
- Collaborate with service advisors and other technicians to provide accurate assessments and timelines for repairs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
Qualifications:- Completion of an accredited trade school program in automotive technology or a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in automotive transmission repair.
- Proven expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and rebuilding both automatic and manual transmissions.
- Proficiency with transmission diagnostic and programming tools.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
