Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• 3-5 years of Sales Manager experience in the automotive industry.
• 2 years of experience leading a high-performing sales team.
• Experience in Finance & Insurance (F&I) is required.
• Must successfully complete MVR, background check, and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Forecast department goals and prepare an annual operating budget.
• Collaborate with department managers to promote teamwork.
• Recruit, hire, and train new vehicle sales staff.
• Direct daily activities of the sales department staff.
• Guide sales team in setting and achieving objectives.
• Develop training schedules for continual sales training and role-playing.
• Assist salespeople with closing deals when necessary.
• Ensure all customers consult with a manager before leaving the dealership.
• Create improvement plans for underperforming sales staff.
• Recommend inventory for new and used cars to management.
• Assist in developing advertising campaigns and promotions.
• Follow up on leads to enhance online marketing ROI.
