Full Job Description
Job/Position Summary

Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and scale automated pipelines for complex automotive embedded software components.
  • Implement robust Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) simulation pipelines to validate control algorithms and application software in virtual environments before hardware deployment.
  • Integrate static code analysis (MISRA C/C++ compliance), dynamic analysis, and automated unit testing frameworks directly into the build pipeline.
  • Orchestrate and containerize standard automotive tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink, Vector CANoe/vTESTstudio, dSPACE, or compilers) within cloud or on-premise runner environments.
  • Define and manage deterministic build environments using Docker, virtual machines, or infrastructure-as-code (IaC) principles to ensure reproducible builds across teams.
  • Architect and maintain tight integration between GitHub Enterprise and Azure Boards to ensure automated traceability (e.g., linking commits and pull requests directly to user stories and work items).
  • Automate artifact management, versioning, and compliance documentation generation (supporting ISO 26262 standards) utilizing tools like JFrog Artifactory or GitHub Packages.
  • Support the virtualization of hardware testing environments to enable headless, scalable cloud execution.
  • Write clean, modular automation scripts using Python, Bash, and PowerShell to glue toolchains and platforms together.
  • Provide dual support for hybrid infrastructure, managing both cloud services and on-premise physical build agents.
  • Implement continuous logging and monitoring tools to proactively identify pipeline bottlenecks and system failures.
  • Continuously optimize infrastructure cost, runner performance, and build speed across the entire engineering pipeline.
