Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific or engineering discipline.
• 1+ year of hands-on experience servicing liquid handlers, or 2+ years in a relevant technical service role.
• Familiarity with basic coding and flow control logic in automation.
• Understanding of clinical laboratory assays and their applications.
• Strong problem-solving skills with minimal direction required.
• Excellent documentation skills and knowledge of Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
• Customer service focus with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line service response for automated processes and instrumentation in the Union City facility.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance for laboratory instruments and automation systems.
• Perform equipment qualifications, including Installation, Operational, and Performance Qualification.
• Troubleshoot and triage equipment issues, coordinating vendor support as needed.
• Draft and revise documentation for equipment operation and troubleshooting.
• Maintain spare parts inventory and service records in compliance with GDP.
• Identify and implement process improvements while supporting validation plans.
• Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives as assigned.
