A Snapshot of Your Day
As the Automation Manufacturing Engineer, you will support the Thermal Spray & Robotics team by managing robotic systems, improving automated manufacturing processes, and enabling data-driven decision-making. Your day will include hands-on robot programming, process engineering, and developing automation tools that enhance efficiency and quality. You will also support structured light scanning and inspection activities to ensure production accuracy.

What You Bring
High School Diploma/GED required with related experience OR has a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Mechatronics, or related engineering field preferred.
6 months+ experience in automation, robotics, or process engineering within a manufacturing environment is preferred; Candidates with more experience may qualify for a higher-level role.
Hands-on experience programming industrial robots (preferably Fanuc) and developing automation scripts (e.g., Python) is a plus.
Knowledge of structured light scanning, metrology tools, inspection software (e.g., Zeiss), and preferably laser drilling and/or EDM machining.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and apply mechanical/industrial engineering principles.
Experience or exposure to SAP, Siemens NX, metal joining processes, and continuous improvement methods is a plus.
