Job DescriptionJob SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Cloud Software and Automation Engineer with deep expertise in Go (Golang) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). In this role, you will write high-performance automation software, build internal development tools, and orchestrate robust cloud infrastructure. Your core focus will be eliminating operational friction, optimizing system reliability, and scaling our cloud native services.
Key Responsibilities- Develop Go Automation: Design and write clean, efficient, and maintainable automation software, microservices, and custom APIs using Go.
- Automate GCP Infrastructure: Provision and manage scalable, reliable Google Cloud environments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
- Orchestrate Containers: Manage and optimize application lifecycles within Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) and Cloud Run.
- Optimize CI/CD Pipelines: Build and maintain automated continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines via Cloud Build, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Monitor & Observe: Implement telemetry and observability hooks into Go applications using GCP Cloud Observability (Logging and Monitoring).
- Secure Cloud Services: Enforce strict security boundaries using GCP IAM, Cloud KMS, and automated dependency vulnerability scanning.
- Enhance Performance: Debug complex, distributed cloud systems and optimize Go runtimes for cost and performance efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Go Expertise: Strong proficiency in Go (Golang), including concurrency patterns, standard library tools, and writing cloud-native APIs.
- GCP Experience: Proven hands-on experience with core GCP services (Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, IAM, and Networking).
- Infrastructure as Code: Strong experience writing modular, production-ready Terraform configurations.
- Containers: Deep understanding of Docker containerization and advanced Kubernetes orchestration.
- Software Design: Familiarity with microservices architecture, REST/gRPC interfaces, and distributed systems.
- Preferred Certification: Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer or Professional Cloud Architect is highly desirable.
Mandatory Skills: Cloud Engineering GCP.
Experience: 3-5 Years.
The expected compensation for this role ranges from $45,000 to $121,000 .
Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience.
