Controls Automation Engineer | PLC and Robotics

Due to advancement, MasterMold is hiring Controls Automation Engineers to program, troubleshoot, and improve the industrial automation systems that keep our manufacturing operation moving.

If you have experience as a Controls Engineer, Automation Engineer, Robotics Engineer, PLC Programmer, or Manufacturing Controls Engineer, we want to talk to you.

What You'll Do
  • Program and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, sensors, drives, and industrial control systems
  • Optimize ABB, FANUC, KUKA, Yaskawa, Motoman, or similar industrial robots
  • Support robotic paint systems, press automation, machine controls, and equipment integration
  • Diagnose electrical, software, mechanical, and automation problems
  • Improve equipment uptime, throughput, quality, reliability, and process consistency
  • Lead automation upgrades, process trials, and continuous improvement projects

What You Bring
  • Experience with PLC programming, industrial robotics, controls engineering, or manufacturing automation
  • Strong plant floor troubleshooting and problem solving skills
  • Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical documentation
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Automation, Robotics, Mechatronics, or a related field, or equivalent hands on experience
  • Experience with robotic paint systems, industrial coatings, press automation, vision systems, industrial networks, or manufacturing data systems is a major advantage.
