Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering or equivalent experience with 1-2 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in operation or troubleshooting of automated systems (Robots, Controls, SCADA preferred).
• Project Management experience preferred, but not mandatory.
• General knowledge of investment casting process is desirable, yet not required.
• Strong ability to independently apply and adapt various technical procedures under general direction.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills; technical writing experience is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of lean manufacturing principles; Six Sigma Green Belt certification or willingness to obtain is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Ensure automation safety requirements are met and maintain all systems in safe working order.
• Provide technical assistance and leadership across various teams including Operations and Engineering.
• Coordinate system support and preventative maintenance with Technicians and Engineers.
• Utilize knowledge of automation to troubleshoot and resolve equipment/process errors, liaising with System Integrators and Equipment Manufacturers.
• Collaborate with Operations and Engineering to assess automation viability and develop solutions for complex problems.
• Plan and execute Continuous Improvement Projects and New Automated Systems, tracking timeline and resources effectively.
• Collect, analyze, and present data in formats such as technical reports to assess performance and support new automation initiatives.
