Automation & Business Process Engineer

About the Role

As an Automation & Business Process Engineer at Fiserv, you will design and deliver scalable automation and reporting solutions using Microsoft 365 tools (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, SharePoint) and SQL. You will analyze business needs, identify root causes, and implement solutions that improve efficiency across supply chain operations.

This role supports multiple business areas, requiring strong analytical thinking, adaptability, and a proactive approach to identifying and solving problems.

What you will do:
  • Analyze requests to identify root problems and design effective, scalable solutions.
  • Proactively identify process gaps and recommend improvements.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries to support data analysis and reporting.
  • Build and maintain automation solutions using Power Platform tools.
  • Develop Power BI dashboards to track performance, SLAs, and operational metrics.
  • Manage SharePoint lists and data structures to ensure accuracy and scalability.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver automation-driven improvements
  • Lead projects from discovery through implementation.
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly to business stakeholders.
  • Create clear documentation, including process maps and user guides.


What You Will Need to Have
  • Bachelor's degree (Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, or related field preferred).
  • 2+ years of SQL experience for data extraction and analysis.
  • 2+ years of experience with Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps.
  • Strong knowledge of SharePoint Lists and integrations.
  • Understanding of data modeling and relational databases.
  • Experience building Power BI reports (DAX, Power Query).
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on root-cause analysis.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and communicate effectively


What Would Be Great to Have
  • Experience in supply chain, logistics, or multi-site operations.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration and data governance.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience creating process maps or flowcharts.
  • Microsoft certifications (Power Platform, SQL, or related tools)
