Senior/Expert Test Engineer supporting a large government technical development program focused on
Authentication, Authorization, Identity & Access Management (IdAM/ICAM), attributes, entitlements, and digital policy management.
Key Responsibilities- Design, plan, execute, and document software/system testing
- Perform integration, functional, unit, and user acceptance testing
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts
- Support testing in a DevOps/SecDevOps environment
- Conduct testing after software deployments
- Create test plans, procedures, reports, and documentation
- Troubleshoot and investigate system issues
- Work closely with developers, engineers, customers, and technical teams
- Track and report test results and defects
- Help improve quality-control and reliability processes
Required Qualifications- Active TS/SCI + Polygraph
- 8+ years software testing and/or software development
- BS + 11-15 years relevant experience, or MS + 10-13 years; equivalent experience may substitute
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle
- Hands-on experience with:
- Java
- Selenium
- SQL
- Linux
- JUnit
- Experience with GitHub, Jira, and Confluence
- Strong communication, organization, troubleshooting, and independent-work skills
- Experience working in matrixed/large technical teams
Preferred Skills- Computer Science, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering degree
