Role Summary

Fanatics Collectibles is looking for a Manager to lead key components of our autograph card processes. This individual will be accountable for building out the team & core processes for quality control of unsigned inventory produced in our new digital workflow. This team member will also have a hand in process improvement across all of Autograph Operations core processes leveraging experience in an operational role, data, tools, and AI. This role serves as a leader within our department and is responsible for ensuring that autographs that make it into our product are of the highest caliber, inventoried & documented properly, and delivered on-time for production. The ideal candidate is someone with high integrity, a self-starter with strong analytical skills, experience leading teams and developing employees, manufacturing and/or product management background preferred. Candidates with a passion for sports, culture, & entertainment will find themselves a strong cultural fit.

Responsibilities:
  • Stands up & manages Quality process of unsigned inventory produced in the Fanatics Collectible Digital Workflow, taking key learnings from current processes.
  • Manages the end-to-end quality control process for unsigned and signed autograph stickers and cards.
  • Effectively communicates with Athlete Partnerships and Brand teams to resolve issues/discrepancies related to sticker autographs. Liaises between Athlete Partnerships, Brand, and Manufacturing to ensure a smooth end-to-end product lifecycle.
  • Leads team of QC Supervisors and Leads, accountable for productivity, output, & coaching.
  • Manages all data integrity across all components, player payments, and program assessments.
  • Creates and tracks quality control KPI's, to include unsigned cards/stickers received, signed cards/stickers received, defect rates, throughput/hour, and other critical KPI's.
  • Responsible for managing Data Entry team, ensuring on-card inventory is organized/accurate, data entry is accurate and complete, and 100% on-time delivery of pack outs to vendors.
  • Manages QC Backlog, ensuring backlog has clear burndown plan with appropriate communication on timelines.
  • Supervises quality control training to newly onboarded associates and re-trainings for existing associates monthly.

The Ideal Candidate:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Analytics, Finance, or a relatable field, required.
  • 6-8 years working experience, 3-5+ years of supervisory or leadership experience in manufacturing or production environments, preferred.
  • Experience building and leading large teams with a track record for coaching and developing new talent
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and leadership skills.
  • Prior experience with owning large sets of data & ability to make critical decisions based on trends over time.
  • Past experience owning executive-level reporting and communications & ability to work with leaders in cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint), required.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift 40+ pounds, required.
  • Prior experience with Power BI and other data visualization tools, a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, required.

Work Location:

This role is based in the Dallas area and requires the ability to travel between our offices in Sunnyvale, Coppell, and Allen to support business operations.
