JOB DESCRIPTION

Help commercial auto banking opportunities move from idea to funded reality. In this role, you will be the connector who keeps renewals and new deals on track by aligning bankers, partners, and clients. Your financial analysis and prioritization will support better decisions and smoother execution. If you thrive on ownership, collaboration, and momentum, this role is for you.

As a Dealer Services Portfolio Banker in Dealer Services, you support Auto commercial bankers and sales leadership by managing portfolios and helping advance new business opportunities and loan renewals. You keep us moving by coordinating across credit, operations, client service, and treasury partners and by staying close to timelines, requirements, and risks. You will use financial analysis and disciplined follow-up to help bankers prepare requests, complete annual reviews, and onboard new relationships. We work in a team-oriented culture where you can take initiative, communicate confidently, and make a visible impact.

Job responsibilities
  • Support bankers with financing requests by ordering spreads, performing financial analysis, and building pricing models
  • Prepare for and participate in meetings with credit partners to align on deal needs and next steps
  • Validate pricing models and relationship strategies to support annual reviews
  • Coordinate onboarding for new client relationships by partnering with operations, credit, treasury, know your customer, environmental, and appraisal teams
  • Review loan documentation to confirm accuracy before sending materials to borrowers
  • Manage pipeline activity to keep new business and renewals progressing on expected timelines
  • Escalate roadblocks and drive resolution by coordinating actions across stakeholders
  • Monitor portfolio performance and proactively surface issues, risks, and required actions
  • Communicate with clients to obtain portfolio maintenance items and required documentation
  • Partner with operations and credit teams to clear past-due items and close open requirements
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, mathematics, or management
  • 5 years of related work experience in portfolio management, commercial banking support, credit, or similar roles
  • Demonstrated ability to perform financial analysis to support lending or relationship decisions
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including experience building or validating pricing models
  • Strong client management skills, including the ability to request documentation and drive timely follow-through
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with internal stakeholders and external clients
  • Ability to work independently while contributing in a team-oriented culture
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain timelines across concurrent opportunities
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
  • Experience in commercial underwriting and risk assessment
  • Experience using Salesforce
  • Master of Business Administration degree
