UBS Business Solutions US LLC is seeking an Authorized Officer, Tech Support Analyst in Nashville, TN

We're looking for an Authorized Officer, Tech Support Analyst to:
• Continuously monitor network traffic, servers, routers, switches, firewalls, and other critical infrastructure using specialized tools and dashboards. Detect anomalies, performance issues, or security threats in real time. Promptly respond to alarms and alerts.
• Classify the severity of incidents, take immediate corrective actions, and escalate issues to appropriate teams as required. Conduct root-cause analysis of incidents, network outages, and performance degradations. Propose and implement remedies for recurring problems. Execute approved changes to network configurations, software updates, firmware upgrades, and patch deployments, adhering to documented protocols and minimizing service disruptions.
• Maintain accurate logbooks, incident tickets, shift handover reports, and network diagrams. Prepare regular status summaries and incident reports for management and stakeholders. Perform routine health checks, preventive maintenance, and performance tuning. Identify potential risks before they escalate into critical issues.
• Work in tandem with IT support, security, engineering, and vendor teams to resolve complex issues and coordinate planned maintenance or upgrades. Adhere to company posies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Support security initiatives by monitoring for suspicious activities and implementing recommended controls. Communicate effectively with internal users or clients regarding service status, incident resolutions, and expected timelines.

Your expertise
Education & Experience Requirement:
• Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Telecommunications, Engineering (Any), or a related field of study plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or 2 years of experience as a Network Development Engineer, Support Engineer, Technician, or a related occupation.
Alternate Education & Experience Requirement (if applicable):
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Telecommunications, Engineering (Any), or a related field of study and 5 years of experience in the job offered or 5 years of experience as a Network Development Engineer, Support Engineer, Technician, or a related occupation in lieu of Master's degree and 2 years of experience.
Position requires experience with the following:
• Networking concepts, including TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, DNS, and DHCP; Routing Cisco, Juniper and Arista; Switching Cisco, Juniper and Arista; Firewall Juniper and Fortigate; Load balancer F5 and Citrix; Monitoring dashboards for alerts or threshold breaches like Zabbix, Splunk and SMARTS; Investigating incidents, opening tickets, and tracking resolution progress; Documenting all actions taken in incident management systems for detection and reporting of the network incidents and noting the symptoms, affected areas and resolution; Performing routine checks of backup systems, storage capacities, and hardware health; Ticking tools such as Service now and Atlas; Upgrade of network devices; Smart hand support to work with local team/IT.
