We are looking for an experienced Audit Manager to lead audit, review, and compilation engagements for a well-established CPA firm in the Allentown / Lehigh Valley area.
This role is a strong fit for someone with public accounting experience who enjoys leading engagements, working directly with clients, reviewing financial statements and workpapers, and mentoring staff. The Audit Manager will play a key role in keeping engagements organized, accurate, and on schedule while maintaining strong client relationships and firm quality standards.

Responsibilities- Lead audit, review, and compilation engagements from planning through completion
- Review financial statements, workpapers, audit documentation, and supporting schedules
- Supervise, train, and mentor audit staff during engagements
- Manage engagement timelines, budgets, deadlines, and client deliverables
- Communicate directly with clients to gather information, answer questions, and provide updates
- Identify audit issues, risks, process gaps, and areas for improvement
- Ensure work is completed in accordance with GAAP, GAAS, and firm quality standards
- Prepare and review financial statements and related disclosures
- Support partners with client relationship management and advisory needs
- Assist with staff development, workflow improvements, and audit department efficiency
Requirements- 5+ years of public accounting audit experience preferred
- Experience managing audit, review, and compilation engagements
- Strong understanding of GAAP, GAAS, financial statements, and audit procedures
- Experience supervising, training, or reviewing the work of staff accountants
- Ability to manage multiple client engagements and deadlines at the same time
- Strong client communication and relationship management skills
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency with accounting, audit, and Microsoft Office tools
- CPA license preferred, or actively pursuing CPA
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
- Must be local to the Allentown / Lehigh Valley area or able to reliably commute
