Description

Aldrich CPAs and Advisors is looking for an Audit Manager to join our team serving clients in the Architecture & Engineering (A&E) industry. This position involves managing audits, reviews, and compilations from planning through completion while serving as a trusted advisor to clients.

This is a full-time position based in our Lake Oswego office with hybrid workplace options. The Audit Manager will work closely with clients and internal teams, with opportunities to build strong client relationships and contribute to new business development.

An Audit Manager provides client service, engagement leadership, technical guidance, and relationship management. This position is client facing, so the ideal candidate has strong communication skills, enjoys working directly with clients, and can effectively lead and develop others.

Requirements

You'll Get a Chance To
  • Plan and manage audit, review, and compilation engagements from planning through completion
  • Coordinate service delivery and manage all aspects of client engagements
  • Serve as a technical resource for staff and seniors and provide guidance on complex accounting and audit matters
  • Review engagement workpapers and financial statements for accuracy, quality, and compliance with professional standards
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and timely, high-quality service
  • Lead, coach, and mentor staff and seniors through training, performance feedback, and development opportunities
  • Manage engagement economics, including budgets, billings, collections, and client fees
  • Identify opportunities to expand client relationships and participate in business development and networking activities
  • Contribute to process improvements and innovative approaches that enhance the client and employee experience


What You Bring to the Team
  • 4+ years of recent experience in public accounting with a primary focus on audit
  • Strong understanding of audit and attest services, GAAP, and FASB standards
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
  • Successful completion of the CPA exam or an active CPA license
  • Ability to lead and develop staff and seniors
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and research skills
  • Experience managing client relationships and engagement teams

The current estimated salary range for this position is $115,000 - $130,000.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational goals.

What You Should Know

This is a full-time position based in our Lake Oswego office with hybrid workplace options. This position requires in-person attendance on occasion based on business needs and may include light travel, primarily along the West Coast, between February and April.
