Responsibilities
Essential Functions and Primary Duties
Responsible for leading audit engagements in asset management. Clients include investment funds in the private equity, infrastructure, private credit, venture capital, and real estate asset classes.
Immediately step into a leadership role, serving as the key client contact and be viewed as a trusted business advisor by clients.
Assist industry growth in the New England region and help lead national and regional initiatives.
Manage the practice effectively, meeting billing targets and working on initiatives to implement AI and other technology and improve realization.
Actively participate in business development opportunities for CBIZ.
Ensure quality control standards are met and consistent with US GAAP, and other regulatory guidelines.
Assist in the design, planning and review of attest procedures on valuations of investments in portfolio companies and real estate, interpretation of LPA waterfalls, PCAP analyses, and disclosures.
Serve as an advisor on technical matters as a Subject Matter Expert in asset management. Must have significant experience with ASC 946 investment companies.
Contribute to research and articles on technical accounting matters and provide insights in understanding new accounting standards and best practices for fund structures.
Build out staff, growth mindset.
