Audit & Assurance Manager - Worcester, MAThe Innovative CPA Group is looking for an
Attest Manager to join our team in our Worcester, MA location.
Essential Responsibilities: - Plan, manage, and execute audit, review, and compilation engagements for a diverse client base
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong relationships
- Review financial statements and workpapers to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable standards
- Ensure engagements are completed on time and within budget
- Research and resolve complex accounting and auditing issues
- Supervise, train, and mentor staff and seniors, providing ongoing feedback and performance evaluations
- Assist with staff development and training initiatives
- Participate in business development efforts, including identifying opportunities with existing clients
- Stay current on industry trends and changes in accounting and auditing standards
What You'll Bring: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (Master's preferred)
- CPA license preferred
- 7+ years of public accounting experience, with a focus on audit/attest services
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and GAAS
- Proven experience managing engagements and leading teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Proficiency in audit and accounting software
