Full Job Description
As an Assurance Associate II, you will assist in audits, consult and communicate with leaders and client personnel to complete assurance engagements. Requirements: 3 BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. 3 2+ years' experience in public accounting, working with clients in a variety of industries. 3 Licensed CPA, or in the process of obtaining the CPA. 3 Experience auditing complex accounts like inventory, revenue, equity/stock options, etc. 3 Excellent oral and written communication skills. 3 Strong desire to continuously learn. 3 Ability to analyze and prioritize information to make appropriate recommendations. 3 Ability to synthesize all forms of research into clear, thoughtful, actionable deliverables. 3 Ability to understand client needs, identifies root causes of problems, and implements pragmatic solutions. Responsibilities: 3 Be responsible for working with multiple client engagements throughout the year. 3 Be responsible for communicating issues that arise during the audit engagement with the support of the engagement manager. 3 Contribute to development and execution of audit strategy from planning to reporting. 3 Develop and maintain client relationships, thus driving client satisfaction. 3 Research, understand and apply complex accounting concepts and auditing procedures. 3 Draft financials and report audit findings (both verbal and written). 3 Champion sustainable workplace practices by supporting remote-first operations, promoting paperless workflows through digital collaboration tools, participating in recycling initiatives to minimize paper use, and consistently demonstrate alignment with BPM's values. $80,000-$90,000/year The salary range provided is intended for candidates in the San Francisco Bay Area who meet the minimum requirements of the position. Candidates who do not reside in the San Francisco Bay Area, do not meet the minimum requirements, or exceed the requirements are encouraged to apply and a recruiter will provide you with a range specific to your location and qualifications.
