As a
Full Time Audiologist, you'll provide care to client employees in our Health Center located in Fort Worth, TX.
Position Highlights:- We are seeking a dynamic, passionate, and driven Audiologist to join our team and support health centers across multiple locations. This hybrid position is a combination of remote work and onsite support.
- Candidates must reside in the Fort Worth area to provide timely onsite coverage and support for our health center operations.
- Leadership mindset with the desire and ability to step into a more supervisory/leadership role.
- Flexible schedule required to support 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts based on operational needs.
- Willingness to travel, including out-of-state travel, to support health centers and program initiatives.
What You'll Do- Provides counseling and rehabilitative services to hearing, balance and communication-impaired individuals and their families.
- Facilitates hearing conservation.
- Monitors the electronic equipment for proper functioning, maintains an up-to-date calibration schedule, and is responsible for infection control in equipment that comes in direct contact with patients.
- Executes administrative duties including, but not limited to ordering office and audiology supplies, maintaining a schedule for patients seen in Audiology, and ordering/purchasing hearing aids.
- Performs basic audiometric testing on patients of all ages including air and bone conduction testing, speech and impedance testing, acoustic reflex testing.
- May be required to perform advanced audiometric testing, such as play audiometry, COR, eustachian tube dysfunction, fistula testing, OAE's (otoacoustic emissions), ABR (auditory brainstem response), ENG (electronystagmography), Ecog (electrocochleography), and ENOG (electroneuronography).
- Provides hearing aid counseling, fitting, evaluation and troubleshooting of malfunctioning hearing aids, cochlear implant management, including programming of speech processors, troubleshooting, and counseling.
- Maintains current information on Audiology practice and procedures.
- Maintains a record of patients seen in Audiology including patients not seen in conjunction with an Otolaryngology physician and track patient demographics.
- Collaborates with the onsite team as an active member of the Occupational Health and/or Primary Care team.
- May require other duties as assigned.
What You'll Bring- Master's degree in Audiology required
- State license required.
- American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or American Board of Audiology (ABA) certification
- Knowledge of OSHA hearing conservation regulations
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety concepts and OSHA regulations
- Strong computer skills (Internet software, spreadsheet, word processing etc.
- Strong attention to detail
