Blue Water Ear Nose & Throat with Balance and Therapy by FYZICAL ™ is hiring an Audiologist for its practice on North Carolina's Outer Banks. This position requires collaboration with members of our small team, including a solo otolaryngologist, a physical therapist, an office manager, and client care specialists. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in vestibular disordersas well as hearing disorders, plus experience dispensing hearing aids. Candidates must have exceptional interpersonal skills, a solution-oriented mentality, and a desire for ongoing growth. That special individual will be rewarded personally, professionally, and financially as we work together to grow our young, thriving practice, and allow our clients to reclaim their lives. Our goal is a well-rounded, whole-person approach to getting our clients back on their feet which can be best accomplished by astute diagnosis of the problem and treatment of it with the input from the otolaryngologist, physical therapist, and YOU !
The position will be full-time (although we will entertain those interested in part-time employment). Very competitive salary commensurate with experience plus bonus structure. When you join Blue Water ENT - a signing bonus can be yours pending necessary licensure and starting date.

Responsibilities
  • Be part of a team of audiologists that dispense premium-hearing instruments
  • Work with a multidisciplinary team including specialists in physical therapy, Ear, Nose & Throat and audiology
  • Help further develop a hearing aid component to the balance and hearing center program
  • Conducting diagnostic/vestibular tests
  • Assist your team in providing hearing aids
  • Be an instrumental part of growing the audiology program
  • Collaborate with other department clinicians
  • Perform a full range of diagnostic hearing and vestibular testing including VNG, CDP balance testing
Skills & Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of professional audiology experience
  • Some experience with balance disorders preferred
  • AuD - audiology doctorate degree
  • 1+ year(s) as a practicing audiologist
  • Balance disorder knowledge a plus
  • Doctorate of audiology (AuD)
