Audio Visual Technician - Video Engineer with a strong background in audio engineering and live production to support corporate meetings, executive presentations, town halls, livestreams, and special events.
The ideal candidate is technically skilled, dependable, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced corporate environment supporting high-visibility events.
ResponsibilitiesVideo Production & Engineering
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot professional video systems for corporate meetings, executive events, town halls, and live productions.
- Operate professional and PTZ cameras, video switchers, routing systems, monitors, recording equipment, and related production technology.
- Support multi-camera live productions and livestreams.
- Manage video signal flow, routing, resolutions, frame rates, and video distribution.
- Perform camera setup and adjustments including framing, focus, exposure, white balance, and color matching.
- Support presentation playback, graphics, confidence monitors, and display systems.
- Monitor video quality during live events and quickly identify and resolve technical issues.
- Support livestreaming, encoding, recording, and virtual event workflows.
- Perform video editing and post-production for recorded events, executive communications, internal content, and other corporate productions.
- Manage recorded media and assist with content organization and archiving.
General AV & Event Support
- Set up, operate, and strike AV equipment for meetings, conferences, and corporate events.
- Provide general support for microphones, audio systems, displays, projectors, lighting, presentation systems, and video conferencing.
- Set up and strike pipe and drape, staging, and other event production equipment as needed.
- Run, secure, and manage AV cabling while maintaining safe, clean, and professional event spaces.
- Assist with equipment testing, maintenance, inventory, and organization.
- Participate in rehearsals, pre-production meetings, event setup, and post-event breakdown.
- Partner with presenters, executives, producers, event teams, and other AV professionals to deliver a high-quality event experience.

Requirements:- Professional experience in audio visual, video production, broadcast, live events, or a related technical field.
- Strong knowledge of video engineering, signal flow, switching, routing, and troubleshooting.
- Experience operating professional cameras, PTZ cameras, and multi-camera production systems.
- Experience with professional video switchers and production equipment.
- Working knowledge of SDI, HDMI, NDI, and related video technologies.
Core Competencies:- Experience supporting livestreaming, recording, and virtual event workflows.
- Experience with video editing and post-production software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with live production platforms such as vMix, OBS, Wirecast, or similar systems.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Webex, and other corporate collaboration platforms.
- Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and customer-service skills with the ability to interact professionally with employees, executives, and guests.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and remain composed during time-sensitive live events.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a production team.
- Ability to safely lift, move, set up, and strike AV and event production equipment.
Preferences:- Experience supporting executive-level corporate meetings, town halls, and large-scale events.
- Experience with professional broadcast or corporate studio environments.
- Advanced knowledge of livestreaming and multi-camera production workflows.
- Strong video editing and post-production experience.
- Knowledge of network-based video and AV technologies.
Pay Range: $35.41-$58.98/hour
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
