Automated Test & Verification Engineer Onsite in Huntsville, AL | Schedule: 9x80 Estimated Salary Range: $90,000 - $160,000 Test Engineer will support the Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) Weapon System (GWS) program as an individual contributor on the Architecture & Delivery (A&D) Automated Test & Verification (ATV) Team. This role develops and supports test automation software products that enable execution of the GWS contract on behalf of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA). Responsibilities: • Design, develop, integrate, test, and deploy software products that support automated test and verification efforts • Contribute to software development activities across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements, design, development, integration, testing, and deployment • Partner with product teams to develop technical solutions that support program objectives • Support Agile development activities and participate in team execution using collaboration and configuration management tools • Develop and conduct testing in HWIL environment • Automate current manual test procedures Qualifications: • U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law • Active Secret Clearance required • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related STEM field from an accredited institution • Professional experience in one or more phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including software design requirements, application development, integration, testing, or deployment • Professional software development experience using Eggplant, Python, Bash or similar programming languages • Experience working in Agile development environments • Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Fisheye/Crucible, and Bitbucket Preferred Qualifications: • Experience developing technical solutions in collaboration with product teams • Experience with test automation software development • Experience using Jenkins and Elasticsearch • Experience serving in Agile/Scrum leadership roles such as Scrum Master or Product Owner • Current CompTIA Security+ certification Full-Time position with an Employee-Owned company offering a comprehensive benefits package: Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance, Short-Term and Long-term Disability, and Life Insurance, FSA, Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), 401(k) Plan with company match, Tuition and Training Reimbursement, and Incentive Compensation.
