Responsibilities
Represent clients in legal proceedings, including court hearings, trials, and depositions.
Conduct comprehensive legal research and offer expert legal advice to clients.
Draft a variety of legal documents, such as contracts, pleadings, briefs, and appeals.
Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients, demonstrating strong advocacy skills.
Maintain effective communication with clients and other relevant parties involved in legal proceedings.
In family law, legislate and resolve matters related to divorce and separation, covering areas such as property division, child custody, and alimony.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Active and in good standing with the state bar. Federal Bar is a plus
3 - 5+ years of experience practicing criminal or family law
Demonstrated expertise in courtroom representation
Strong research, writing, and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a dynamic legal team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
