Attending Physician

Full-Time

The Parker Jewish Institute for Healthcare and Rehabilitation, located in New Hyde Park, NY, is seeking a full-time Attending Physician to join our team of dedicated specialists working in the Medical Department.

In this role working alongside caring, dedicated, and experienced Medical leadership, you will be responsible for the delivery of appropriate, adequate, compassionate and quality medical care of Parker's residents in coordination with other members of the health care team.

This position is a key clinical leadership role within the organization, with the ability to make an impact and offers a significant personal and professional opportunity to join a world-renowned health care organization. Position Qualifications
  • Two (2) or more years of experience as an Attending Physician in a hospital with a geriatric population; or within a nursing home environment
  • A medical degree from an accredited medical school
  • NYS Board certification in a primary care specialty
  • Eligibility for hospital admitting privileges
  • Clean and active license to practice medicine in New York State
  • Proficient in SigmaCare or a similar Electronic Medical Record software
