Athletic Director

Department: Athletics

Salary: $103,601.81+, depending on education and experience.

Description:

The Athletic Director provides leadership, planning, administration, and oversight for all Santa Fe Indian School middle school and high school athletic programs. The Athletic Director is responsible for developing a comprehensive athletic program that promotes academic achievement, student wellness, sportsmanship, leadership, cultural values, and competitive excellence. The Athletic Director oversees all aspects of athletic operations, including personnel management, budget administration, event management, student eligibility, compliance, fundraising, community engagement, facilities coordination, and risk management. The Athletic Director ensures that athletic programs reflect and support the mission, values, and educational goals of Santa Fe Indian School while honoring the cultures and traditions of the Pueblo communities served by the school.

Minimum Qualifications

Masters Degree: Sports Management, Education, Business, or related field, plus 3-5 years Athletic administration, or School Leadership, with experience in coordination athletic programs and events. Concussion certificate

Preferred Qualifications

Masters Degree in listed field, NMPED Administrators license, 5-8 years experience as an Athletic Director, or School Leadership.
