Full Job Description
Position Overview:

Woolpert is hiring an experienced Project Manager, ATCT to join our Aviation team. The Project Manager will advise our clients on the design, repair, refurbishment, relocation, and construction of ATCTs with a special emphasis on design and construction management experience on ATCTs. This position can be based anywhere within the United States and will be required to travel to client sites.

We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position. Applicants must already possess work authorization in the country the job is located.

What You Will Do:
  • Provide client airports with ATCT assessments and provide options to design, construct and improve ATCT services.
  • Build relationships with clients to enhance Woolpert's capabilities to recognize opportunities for, and serve problem-solving needs.
  • Have a solid construction management background on tall buildings to assist with new ATCT construction and refurbishment projects.
  • Lead and support architectural and engineering staff regarding ATCT design, bid and construction.
  • Work with staff to create solutions for airport clients.
  • Support Woolpert Engineering and Planning staff to enhance complex projects with detailed understanding and analysis of complex airfield infrastructure.
  • Provide quality reviews of project documentation including architectural, engineering and work plans thru final deliverables.
  • Stay up on the technology and help develop a team that can meet our clients' needs.
  • Execute technical tasks on ATCT projects within budgeted times and costs.

What You Will Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2+ years of demonstrated work experience on ATCTs or tall buildings.
  • Experience leading mechanical, electrical, architectural, structural and plumbing design teams for ATCTs or other tall buildings.
  • Experience with AutoCAD or Autodesk Revit is desirable.
  • Understanding of the application of FAA Orders, standards, safety systems and certification processes.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, ATCT or building design/project management experience and the ability to read, comprehend and follow technical data.
  • Must be willing to travel to clients and other Woolpert offices.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
  • Quickly adapt and respond to industry changes, as well as internal initiatives.

$118,200-$150,000 USD
