Auditor-Controller/Treasurer/Tax Collector's (ATC) office is recruiting for an
Auditor-Controller/Treasurer/Tax Collector Manager to plan, organize, and administer specialized accounting or auditing functions. Essential duties include planning and scheduling financial, compliance, and operational audits; reviewing and evaluating audit reports; advising management on audit findings and recommendations; managing county-wide functions including collections, payroll, accounts payable, general accounting, auditing, disaster claiming, or property tax; and supervising the preparation of a variety of statistical and accounting, auditing, budget, cost allocation reports and financial statements.

Minimum RequirementsCANDIDATES MUST MEET ONE OF THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE OPTION REQUIREMENTS AND EDUCATION:OPTION 1Must possess three (3) years of experience
supervising professional-level accounting operations in one of the following areas: governmental accounting functions, accounts payable, payroll, cost accounting, property tax, intergovernmental fiscal relations, or auditing governmental functions.
OPTION 2Must possess two (2) years of experience as a Supervising Accountant/Auditor or Senior Supervising Accountant/Auditor within ATC.
-AND-EDUCATIONMust possess a completed Bachelor's degree in Accounting
OR Bachelor's degree in another field which must include 24 semester (36 quarter) units of accounting coursework
and 24 semester (36 quarter) units of business related coursework.
EDUCATION SUBSTITUTION: An
active California Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license may substitute for the education requirement. List your license number under the license/certification section of the application.
