Full Job Description
Wiss is seeking an experienced Assurance Manager to join our growing Assurance Practice in Florham Park, NJ. The Manager will be responsible for overseeing all phases of audit engagements, managing client relationships, supervising and mentoring engagement teams, reviewing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with professional standards.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage multiple audit and assurance engagements from planning through completion for construction industry clients.
  • Review and approve financial statements, disclosures, and workpapers in accordance with GAAP and GAAS.
  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee engagement teams, ensuring quality, efficiency, and timely delivery.
  • Perform and oversee overhead audits and related compliance engagements.
  • Evaluate internal controls, assess business risks, and recommend process improvements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong, trusted relationships.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop senior associates, associates, and interns.
  • Review work prepared by staff, provide constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to firm quality standards.
  • Manage multiple client engagements while maintaining exceptional client service and meeting deadlines.
  • Identify opportunities to expand client relationships and support practice growth.

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent required.
  • Active CPA license required.
  • 5+ years of progressive public accounting experience, including experience managing audit engagements.
  • Construction industry experience is required.
