Job Description Summary
Enterprise Community Partners is seeking an experienced Asst. Director, Technical Project Management to lead high-impact enterprise wide platform projects. This will include platforms such as Salesforce, custom development, system integrations, and data-related initiatives. This role is ideal for a leader who can move confidently between business conversations and technical delivery, translate needs into executable plans, and keep complex work aligned to scope, schedule, budget, quality, and stakeholder expectations.

This role works closely with business stakeholders across Enterprise, Salesforce platform architects and application owners, integration and data engineering teams, onshore and offshore delivery partners, and Software Engineering leadership. The position has no direct reports and succeeds through influence, disciplined coordination, and clear accountability.

The Salesforce portfolio increasingly spans platform modernization, Lightning Experience adoption, system integrations, and enterprise data priorities. This position provides the dedicated leadership needed to sustain delivery continuity, manage technical and organizational risk, strengthen partner accountability, and maintain stakeholder confidence in Enterprise's Salesforce investments.

Job Description

What You Will Do
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of Enterprise projects from initiation and discovery through planning, execution, user acceptance testing, release readiness, go-live, and stabilization.
  • Must have experience and adoption efforts, coordinating business readiness, testing, cutover planning, and change management to minimize disruption.
  • Partner with business stakeholders, platform architects, application owners, developers, integration teams, and data teams to translate requirements into clear, sequenced delivery plans.
  • Must have had experience leading Application modernization, leveraging DevOps practices and security practices
  • Own project governance across scope, schedule, budget, risks, dependencies, decisions, issues, and change control, providing timely and transparent reporting to engineering and business leadership.
  • Coordinate Agile and technical delivery practices, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives, release management, UAT coordination, and production-readiness activities.
  • Oversee onshore and offshore consultants, including developers, quality assurance professionals, and business analysts, holding partners accountable for delivery quality and commitments.
  • Manage concurrent Salesforce, integration, and data initiatives across multiple business areas, balancing priorities and resolving cross-functional dependencies.
  • Promote consistent project management standards that improve delivery predictability, stakeholder confidence, and roadmap visibility.

What Success Looks Like
  • Projects are delivered within approved scope, schedule, and budget, with controlled cutovers and minimal production disruption.
  • Business needs are accurately translated into actionable technical requirements, reducing rework, avoidable change requests, and escalations.
  • Lightning Experience releases achieve strong business adoption, positive UAT outcomes, and fewer transition-related support issues.
  • Risks, dependencies, and changes are surfaced early and resolved through disciplined governance and clear decision-making.
  • Consulting partners consistently meet agreed quality, service, and timeline commitments.
  • Leadership receives reliable visibility into project health, delivery cadence, and roadmap progress.

What You Bring
  • 8 to 10 years of progressively responsible technical project management experience, including ownership of Salesforce implementation or enhancement projects from initiation through go-live.
  • Demonstrated ability to own the project plan, delivery timeline, governance, and stakeholder relationships for complex technology initiatives.
  • Must have had experience leading multiple large-scale projects simultaneously. Classic to Lightning conversion experience highly desired.
  • Experience leading discovery and requirements sessions with business users and translating outcomes into plans and specifications that technical teams can execute.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study; Master's degree preferred
  • Familiar with Integration platforms and ability to assist with platform delivery
  • Practical experience with Agile and Scrum delivery practices, release management, UAT coordination, and organizational change management.
  • Experience using Jira and Confluence or comparable tools to manage delivery, documentation, risks, decisions, and reporting.
  • Experience managing Salesforce application development, integrations, middleware or API-based work, data migrations, or system-to-system data flows.
  • Working knowledge of data quality, data governance, and migration planning sufficient to manage project scope, dependencies, and risk.
  • Experience managing blended onshore and offshore consultants or vendors in a DevOps-oriented delivery environment.
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, organization, problem-solving, and executive-level status reporting skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Hands-on leadership of a Salesforce Lightning Experience migration or adoption program, including transition from Salesforce Classic, UAT, and end-user change management.
  • PMP, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Salesforce Certified Associate, Salesforce Administrator, or a comparable certification.
