Overview

The Associate Vice President - Information Security works in the office and oversees operations of teams responsible for the Information Security Vulnerability Management function, protecting the confidentiality, availability and integrity of systems and data. You will develop procedures for identifying, reporting, and resolving security violations and implements information security programs following organizational information security standards. You will report to the Vice President of Information Security.

The Day-to-Day:
  • Manage Vulnerability Management, DevSecOps, Penetration Testing, and Configuration Management within a broader departmental function across multiple teams related to Information Security at our organization
  • Create information security strategies and specific goals for the teams and develop budgets and procedures to support the functional infrastructure
  • Build top performing teams through hiring and mentoring practices
  • Develop relevant metrics for department management
  • Create and present security related information to various levels of internal and external audience
  • Manage security and risk related projects, including resource planning, identifying and addressing roadblocks and escalating
  • Stay current on cyber-security issues, translating to risk, and formulating appropriate response plans
  • Represent the Information Security Department to technical and business internal departments and external entities
  • Work onsite, under management, in a team-based and open office environment

Your Qualifications:
  • 10 years experience in a relevant area of Information Security
  • 3+ years of Leadership experience managing technical teams
  • AI-Driven Vulnerability Assessment experience
  • In-depth knowledge of Information Security and related cyber security risks and controls
  • Work experience within a regulated Industry
  • Project management experience including Agile
  • Elicit cooperation from several sources, including senior management, internal clients, and other departments
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required

Compensation:
  • $120,000 - $180,000 base salary per year in the state of WA. New hires should expect to start at the lower end of the range depending on experience
  • Eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance
